NimbostratusPerhaps post the irules that you are using, that may help a bit, but it sounds like you are dealing with session mirroring, there are a ton of posts regarding this, not sure if it will answer your question, but it's worth a shot. All data on a VIP is mirrored to the standby unit. This can be expensive and should be used with care, meaning, if you have requirements for mirroring use it, if not, leave it alone since it can hog up resources.
This is far less of an issue on the larger appliances (e.g. 6400-6800 and greater).
