Does a firmware upgrade reset the MTU/MSS settings on vlans?

Will a firmware upgrade to 12.1.2 have possibly reset the MTU/MSS settings on configured vlans? Customer is adamant that these were not at the default setting.

    What version was the upgrade from?

     

    What was the MTU/MSS set to prior to the upgrade and after?

    To be honest, I don't know. (currently running 12.1.2 on a 3600 chassis) I don't believe that the MTU/MSS settings would change on a firmware update, but the customer is absolutely adamant that this is the case, even though they can provide no documentation to support this view.
