different CPU of usage on F5 dashboards and on iControl REST API

Hi! I have BIG-IP version 12.1.1. I noticed that there is some inconsistent metrics between the F5 dashboards and an iControl REST API. CPU on iControl REST API reaches a 100% of use, when in F5 at no time does this. Any ideas what could cause this?

    Generally, using cli to check the CPU tends to be more reliable than dashboards. I am not sure about the iCR output. Were you able to compare the iCR output with that of the CLI output ?

    perhaps that is different perspective between user and system cpu usage. some of statistics shows user+system, some are only a system.

     

    so maybe you'd ovserved:

     

    cpu low(dashboard) <-- shows system usage.

     

    cpu high(api) <-- shows sum of user and system usage.

     

    It's just a supposition, thanks.
