Devcentral Code threads - Editing others thread ?
Hi F5 Friends,
I just happened to notice that I'm able to edit others threads too.I was in an assumption that I can edit my threads and posts alone like every other forums does, unless I'm a Super Moderator ;)
Example: I tried with the below thread,
https://devcentral.f5.com/codeshare/pool-member-status-html5-page-1035
Later reverted it back too :)
But the actual prob is not with being able to edit others stuff, but if some one updates it with a wrong code on others thread.

DevCentral is a community effort. Therefore, you can post comments on virtually any thread, not just yours. And F5 encourages you to do so. As our "About" page says, "Dive in with other members to share experiences, interests, and knowledge." I guess that does make DevCentral different from other forums, but we trust that also makes it better!
Originally Codeshare existed as part of our wiki solution and everyone was free to contribute and update helpful code snippets as new ideas surfaced. That spirit of open contributions is why we still allow our users to edit community-contributed code. F5 Supported snippets are restricted to a small group of internal F5 users responsible for iApps and other features.
If someone breaks an update, we can revert to previous versions of the submission. When in edit mode, the version history will show all updates made to the submission. The community here is pretty awesome and respectful of others submissions so we'll continue to enable contributions to each others codeshares.
Cheers!
