default post request

Hi,

 

What is the default behavior of BigIP when it comes to post fields. For instance, if i am submitting a form, will bigip send all the fields without any changes to the backend servers? Do i have to create any special rules for the post requests received from the clients?

    There is nothing special about POST vs GET requests. BIG-IP will pass the entire request to the backend server as-is (that is unless you choose to override that behavior with a profile or iRule).
