CirrusCreating an FTP VS - HELP
Good morning friends
I wonder if someone already implemented such a scenario the BIG IP.
In that case, I would like to create a structure depending on the image.
I have an application where the client does uploads files to a storage.
The application is already running on BIG IP (vs_APP1). This application connects to the ftp server (SRV-FTP) with User and password. The FTP server runs the service of the ISS.
The SRV-FTP connects to STORAGE.
In this new scenario, I wanted to put the FTP-SRV behind the BIG IP, creating a VS for him and pointing in the application url.
How FTP server uses User and password to connect, I wanted to know how would this User and password set in the VS-FTP.
Someone you idea of how to do so, would have to create iRules for this?

Brad_ParkerThe virtual server wouldn't have credentials for the FTP server, your SRV-APP1 would still submit username and password but would be submitting it to the virtual server address rather than directly to the server.
