    The OID? Mmm... nearly useless I'd say IMO. (Bound to be contentious. But what the heck, it's late).

     

    You're better off pulling the CPU counters for each CPU and calculating the %'age in use yourself. There's a few scripts around here. Including some cacti templates etc. The OID is a table of counters for each CPU (core) that includes idle, io, idle, system and user. The mib is available from the welcome page. Or a quick search around devcentral...

     

    There used to be a copy of walkf5stats online too (Which pulls all sorts of stats including my favourite cpu ones). But search can't find it at the moment. Let me know if you'd like a copy and I'll upload it again. Failing that look at the CPU stats templates for cacti (Assuming they're still online. I haven't checked for a while).
