Hi All, Our client wants if the percentage of HTTP requests in the last 10 seconds are 500s (five hunderd), then trip the circuit. Reopen the circuit after period of time”. Would it be possible to do this by creating an iRule?

Yes, flood protection/rate limiting is totally possible. There are many examples for different protocols in the codeshare, this one is for DNS and this one is for HTTP.
You will just need to adjust the max requests and throttle time.
