config sync on BIG-IP 9.4.6
I have a system BIG-IP 9.4.6 Build 401.0 Final that is failing during config sync. It was previously working. If anyone can tell how to fix this error (besides upgrading!) it would be greatly appreciated.
The error message is:
Synchronizing Master Keys... Saving active configuration... ASM configuration cannot be saved/loaded until ASM is enabled and the system rebooted. md5sum: /config/scripts/ucs_create.sh: Input/output error Fatal: executing: md5sum /config/scripts/ucs_create.sh Operation aborted. /tmp/configsync.spec: Error creating package Error creating package Error running config sync all. BIGpipe parsing error: 01110001:3: Error running config sync all

the old way of config sync was creating an UCS, sending it over and restoring it. it seems to have issues with the status of ASM on of the sides, is it active on both? have to tried rebooting both boxes as suggested?

Thanks for the answer. I end up using this document SOL12615: BIG-IP may incorrectly report the ConfigSync state as synchronized to make a ucs file copy it to the secondary, installing it and then re sync the promary and secondary. This worked and the pair is in sync, but i still get the warning about the ASM not working. Which will require a reboot.
