  • I do not believe so, no. You could do it from the command line though. Here's one way to do it:

    /etc/init.d/syslog-ng stop    
    rm -f /var/log/ltm
    /etc/init.d/syslog-ng start
    
  • Hi i want to create some space on my f5 logs folder /dev/mapper/vg--db--sda-dat.log.1 485M 483M 0 100% /var/log

      it was probably a better idea to ask a new question, then jump on this.

       

      do a ls -al /var/log/

       

      probably quickest to delete some of the older logs, i.e .5.gz, .6.gz

       

      and then look into why that section got full

       

      you might also want to clean up some UCS archives
