Changing Default Pool for VIP - Graceful?
We are looking at how we can do our deployments, such as blue / green style deployments
If I have a VIP and change the default pool from pool a to pool b, will connections that are in progress complete gracefully as per a force offline?
if not I'm guessing the other option is that we add new servers to the pool and gracefully remove the old ones from the pool?
Thanks
David

from my experience, F5 usually handles most configuration changes to a virtual server/pool gracefully.
i also tested it out, and my connection to the old pool member was maintained:
- connected to a VS
- saw my connection using "show sys connection cs-server-addr " tied back to an "old" pool member
- changed the default pool of the VS to which i was connected
- the session from my PC did not drop
- saw the connection still existed to the "old" pool member using "show sys connection cs-server-addr "
