change active state of a f5 device

Please i need an expert advice on procedures involve in changing my Active F5 device to Standby. There was a change in my company that involved the powering off all Active devices and servers including the F5 devices. When powered on, i discovered that the devices has swap their roles automatically. Please how do revert back manually through the GUI?

    Hello testimony,

     

    From the Active device, go to Device Management ›› Traffic Groups ›› traffic-group-1

     

    click on "Force to Standby".

     

    There is also a shortcut link, when you click on the "Active" behind the red F5 logo at the top of the page.

    Here,

     

    Login via GUI --> Device Management --> Traffic Groups --> traffic-group-1

     

    Select Force to Standby.

     

    Or when you login to your GUI, on the top left you would see F5 icon with ACTIVE keyword. Clicking on that too directly takes you to the above mentioned steps.
