Can't reset factory default with license expired on F5 device 11.x
Dear all;
I have a F5 device, it had expired-license. i want to clear all old configuration and reset factory defaults F5 for adding a new license. so, i used a command " tmsh load sys config default " and got an error message.
Please help me to solve this problem.

why not first add the license?

I can understand why you'd think a factory reset would sort this but I'm afraid that command does retain some settings so it can still be managed e.g. the license

Can you not contact F5 or your reseller to get an evaluation license in the meantime?

i don't know how i can change system date backward.
can you try this?

hi Nitass. i can change system date backward, but i don't know what a point of time i can change system date to. when i finish to change it, i can use a command "tmsh load sys config default" , right ? Thanks Nitass so much - nitass

have you checked /config/bigip.license file? it should contain date license is valid. - Mai_Tan_Linh_50
