Cannot manage a remote user account in Configuration Manager

Hi all,

 

I'm using 11.6 HF6, and I have configured remote authentication with Active Directory, which works initially before hitting create to add the user account to the user list. As soon as I added it to the list, the account doesn't show up, and I can't figure out how to see it to edit it or troubleshoot access or at least remove it.

 

When I try to create a user with the same name, the config utility tells me the user already exists in the partition Common.
