Can the F5 stop files from downloading?
Brief We have two application servers, one in Production and one in DR.
We have Health Monitors using a HTTP GET request on a URL on both application servers, only difference is that the URL is slightly different for DR.
Both monitors are working.
Issue We are trying to download a CSV file from the application servers, however the download box doesn't appear.
We can view the file in the browser, however its wrong in the file format.
However, we can download the file in DR, we believe this isn't passing traffic through the F5.
Does anyone know if the F5 may prevent us from downloading a CSV?? I've searched in the most obvious areas I could find, Nodes, Monitors and iRules however no joy.

I would say, it depends. If you have ASM, it's plausible certain file downloads could be blocked but there would be a supportID message the user would see for that. Generally speaking, no. The F5 (without ASM) wouldn't touch the headers from the server unless you are doing something in an iRule. Does it work going directly to the server?
