bigip mgm ip communicate with vip

we noticed some traffic showing that  bigip mgm ip commuicate with vip , note that there is no route for mgm ip . based on configration, the self ip should communicate not mgm. what i have to check? ...

Hello,

Could you please clarify the source and destination for this communication? do you mean the mgmt IP of F5 is communicating with one of the back end server or what do you mean by the vip (is it virtual server on the same F5)?

and where do you see this traffic from? becaused based on your post, the mgmt IP is communicating with vip (which is the virtual server configured on F5)

    Dear Mohamed_Salah_

    yes, mgmt IP of F5 is communicating with virtual server ip (is it virtual server on the same F5 - public IP).

    and where do you see this traffic from?

    source : F5 mgmt IP

    Destination: virtual server public ip

    Destination port : 0
