BIGIP LTM VE 10.0.2 licence issue

I am installing VE 10.0.2 on the ESX 4.1i. Installation is successful. But when i try to use the trail registration key to get the licence, F5 web site shows the following alert:

 

 

Unable to grant license key: Error 51133, F5 registration key is not compatible with the detected platform - This platform

 

 

I can see two possiblities:

 

(1) 10.0.2 doesn't support ESX4.1i

 

(2) Trail key doesn't work for VE10.0.2

 

 

It is highly appreciated if anybody can advise the reason why i can't get licence.

    The BIG-IP LTM VE Trial Edition is 10.1.0 based. Your LTM VE Trial keys will only work with this version.

     

     

    You can download it from http://www.f5.com/trial

    Hi,

     

     

    i face the same issue , in the trial link is give you only the license for the version 10.1 not for the 10.2

     

     

    can any one help us in this issue ?

    I don't blame the confusion it is not very clear. The download link for the trial takes you to a page where one can simply reselect to a higher or lower version.

     

    I think this is where the confusion is created.

    the website said "Unable to grant license key: Error 51133, F5 registration key is not compatible with the detected platform - This platform" after i paste the dosier...i'm using trial key...

    Hi Azlan,

     

     

    I don't believe there are plans to support any new trial versions other than 10.1.0. If you want to try out a more recent version, you could ask your F5 SE or partner to give you an evaluation key.
