BigIP LTM - upgrading from 12 to 15

The release notes for version 15 say the platform being upgraded must be at version 13 or higher. Is there a way to go straight from version 12 to 15?

F5 recommended 12 > 13 > 15

 

license is not activate if you upgrade 12 to 15 [ I experience this situation when I upgrade 12 to 15]

any other problem not occur when I had to upgrade 12 > 13 > 15
