NimbostratusBIG-IQ to manage BIG-IP ASM
Hi Guys
I have a doubt about configuring BIG-IQ(VE) with BIG-IP ASM 7055S. When I tried to discover the device I received some errors that the F5 SE says it's a related BUG when VIP imported with iRule enabled. Ok! I disabled the iRule and it's ok. After that, I can't see the option to re-enable these iRules. Is it possible ?
And the last: How can I schedule a configuration backup of the device(BIG-IP) using BIG-IQ ? Is needed to perform a discovery of the BIG-IP device as BIG-IQ Device ?

Yes, there is a bug where discovery will fail if the iRule is attached to a virtual server. This bug is fixed in the forthcoming 5.0 release.
You can schedule a backup in BIG-IQ Device, after the device is discovered in BIG-IQ.

About the backup, I need to discover the big-ip device as BIG-IQ Device and then discover the device again as BIG-IQ Web Application Security ? Yes, you will need to discover into each of the modules separately. There are improvements coming in this area in the 5.0 version.

Does this bug get triggered in 4.6's Device module or only the Security module?
