BIG-IP send gratuitous ARP when force standby?
Hi,
I want you to tell me.
Does BIG-IP send gratuitous ARP when the active unit is forcibly switched back to the standby state after a failover? (ex. run sys failover standby)
Also, can I check the log to see if gratuitous ARP has been sent?
Thank you and best regards,
stanby member no, but the unit becoming active will send GARPs .

Hi, Lidev
I read this.
https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K15858
"When the BIG-IP system becomes active, gratuitous ARP requests are also sent for floating self IP addresses and virtual IP addresses."
Do you think BIG-IP will send GARP when you type "run sys failover standby" command?
