BIG-IP i5800 doesn't turn on automatically after power loss

Hey there   We have two i5800 appliances in cluster and i found that after rebooting the machines or if they suddenly loses power then after the power comes back they don't turn back on automatica...

We had similar issue: Our F5 i5800 in our Data Centre suddenly entered in “Host Powered Off” mode, with the Alarm LED on red and the Status LED on Amber. The power status was green on both power supply units

 

We tried to power cycle, changed the back power cords, and tried also to reboot and power on the host through the LCD screen with no joy.

 

A ticket was opened with F5 to troubleshoot this together, and on a very early stage they decided to RMA the F5 as they said it looks like a Hardware failure.

 

Luckily I took an archive of the Host and guest and saved it locally, so I believe I can restore that onto the new F5 box they will send to us
