AWS S3 Proxy

I’m looking for a best way to transfer files from on-premises to S3 VPC endpoint via F5 over AWS Direct Connect.  The goal here is to route over the AWS Direct Connect, not via the internet.

On-premises --> F5 devices --> Direct Connect --> S3 Buckets

F5 devices is located on-premises not on AWS.  I see that you may need to setup EC2 Proxy to work with S3 VPC endpoint.  I tried that and have no luck. 

Does anyone have a steps or suggestion?
