Automated F5 backups

Hello All,

 

I would like to automate backup of UCS on our LTMs and GTMs and would like to avoid using IAPP. Is there anyway I can use F5 - Python SDK to generate UCS and move the UCS to a remote server for backup? Please also let me know if RESTAPI can be also used to accomplish this. Please advise.

    Not sure about using the rest api for this, i have a simple shell script that's run via a daily cron job to perform the backups. It has been a reliable performer.
