Can a custom pam module be wriiten and installed on the F5 and accessed through iRules?

Well, you can certainly create a custom Authentication Profile, and access that. Is that what you were referring to, or are you looking to actually install a module on the BIG-IP?
If so...what is it you're trying to accomplish in the long run?
