ASM attack signature in 2 different sets, which one is used?

If an attack signature appears within two different signature sets, which one is actually applied?

The answer is: 'whichever signature set is assigned to your policy'.

Signature set is just category helping you (and F5) to group signatures together to make applying/unapplying easier.

If you have the same signature in two different sets and both sets are applied to your policy the signature will still trigger anyway.
