AltocumulusAPM for an FTP Backend Server
Hey fellas,
Can we do APM authentication with an AD server before the user can access the files on an FTP server in the backend? As in the pools would be listening on port 21.
Another thought is can we let the user authenticate with the VS using https on APM and then in the backend the bigip will fetch the files for using FTP to a destination of port 21. So with this users should see the FTP directories on the backend as http hyperlinks and be able to download files using https while bigip in the backend talks to the servers using FTP.

not with builtin options, APM is mainly for HTTP and it won't do ftp to http like you want.
with iRulesLX you might be able to pull this off but it will be building your own solution.
