APM, Edge Client, Mac, Windows, iPhone, Adroid client certificate authentication

I'd like to ask if anyone has been able to reliably implement client certificate authentication as a form of 2 factor authentication using APM and Edge client on multiple platforms running v11.6.

 

I have so far, with many many many work-arounds (and weeks of testing) only just been able to achieve this functionality for Mac, Iphone and Adroid, only to then find out that Windows edge client is no longer presenting client certificates and is failing certificate authentication!!

 

If you have such an implementation I would be grateful to here how you accomplished it or otherwise if anyway can assist with debugging the Windows edge client issue it would also be most appreciated.
