APM as PCoIP proxy issue
Hi,
We are deploying APM as PCoIP proxy. we used latest api to configure apm policy and other profiles. this template also create additional udp vip. But when we tried to access Virtual desktop using vmware horizon client we are able to authenticate, also it display all the assigned desktop to user. but when we click on any desktop we get blank screen. On UDP virtual server 4172 we dont see any traffic.
To troubleshoot issue we created one more virtual server with TCP 4172 and added variable assign event in APM policy view.proxy_addr = expr {"vipfqdn.xyz.com"}. After these changes still screen is blank, but on tcp 4172 virtual server we are able to see traffic, but no traffic on udp 4172. On connection server PCoIP setting we have added "vipfqdn.xyz.com:4172".
Anyone have any exprience please help me where we are going wrong. are we missing any additional setting on Connection server?
Also how is the traffic happening? I mean between client and F5 all(tcp/udp 4172) traffic is https?
Thanks, Sachin

How to verify F5 itself is not initiating UDP 4172 request for screen data? Thanks, Sachin - sachin_80710

This may or may not be helpful but you should have 3 services: one for TCP 443 to the Connection Server, one for TCP 4172 to the VDI for session initiation, and one for UDP 4172 for PCOIP VDI traffic. If you're not seeing any UDP traffic, there's a good chance that either a) your View environment is not configured correctly, or b) more likely that you're firewalling UDP traffic. Can you confirm if the client is actually attempting to send UDP 4172?

I know you already solved this, but just in case anyone else comes across this in search, the iApp is the way to go on this one. Also F5 did a couple of nice videos before they released the iApp, that address the Horizon side settings too.
