APM Access Profiles - Dependency On Parent Profile

Good afternoon!

 

When working with LTM profiles, we enjoy the ability to modify a parent profile and all profiles dependent on it will update accordingly (assuming there are no parameters that override the parent).

 

Is this possible (or will it be possible under an RFE) with APM Access Profiles? When you create a new profile, the Parent Profile field is limited to "access" with no abilities to change it. Since there is a "Parent Profile" field, I'm hopeful that this will hopefully be a feature available in a future release.

 

I have heavily customized the UI for each of our APs, and it would be wonderful to only have to change parameters within one parent profile when updates are required such as Copyright year, etc.

 

We are currently on version 11.5.3 EHF 11.
