Jul 09, 2013AOM - Can I find the IP address anywhere?
I have a 1600 hanging on reboot and need to access the AOM to do a reboot from there. However no one can recall what the AOM address is. I can still SSH to the LTM that is hanging, so I am hoping that it will be in a config file somewhere.
Can someone confirm if this is the case, and if so, which file do I need to pull it from?
Many thanks
Anthony

You can SSH to BIG-IP but you can't access AOM via SSH. Am I correct? - nitass

teepan123 - yes that is correct. I don't have the IP address to ssh directly to AOM. However, nitass solution has worked. I have just tried 'ssh aom' from the SSH terminal I have open on the LTM and I have the AOM menu:
[root@machine1:Active:Standalone] ~ ssh aom
BusyBox v1.8.2 (2012-08-09 14:06:18 PDT) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

Do you happen to have a link to a document like a "How to" with this? The 'Esc (' that it advises in this solution doesn't seem to do much: http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/9000/400/sol9403.html - nitass

after connecting to aom (ssh aom), i understand you can check aom ip by running "ifconfig". - Anthony

Hi again all. Interesting that I've now got a similar problem on one of our test 3600's.
I can't even ssh to the LTM this time round though. Would this mean that I need to do a physical reboot on the actual unit?
Thanks

Damn... Was hoping to avoid that, but thanks for confirming.
