Akamai and OneConnect

F5 LTM is a proxy, with separate client and server side connections and timeouts.

 

You need to use OneConnect with an aggregated clientside connection like Akamai because it internally detaches the connection after each individual request. This allows each request in the connection to be correctly persisted based on client IP or load-balancing cookie.
