Admin partitions & Redundant Pairs

i have Created a new sepaaret admin partition for IT users , with new route domain & new vlans at thsi route domain .

i created users with access to thsis bpartition only , but i can see they r not able to sunc conf they create between pairs .

at the below link under "Understanding administrative partitions" , Table 6.2 The various roles for user accounts ,

  • there is request for enhancement for configuring user-definable role e.g. configsync.

Yeah... I"m trying NOT to use partitions... They're just too much overhead.

You can't move stuff without a complete remove and re-create (Of ALL the bits moving)...

Viewing stuff is a nightmare... Even if you somehow manage to arrange everything ALL the time correctly... You can't select a different partition except form certain places in the GUI... You can't even SEE stuff as a super admin unless you've selected the right partition. And trying to FIND something that's IN a partition you're trying to delete?

  • is This limitation still the same ? even @ 11.4 ? i have box & users with access to certain partition only cann't sync conf between Pairs ? it is not logical that partition user will do Conf while other admin user will Sync fro him

Auto-Sync on the device-group may help you there... H
