Adding static route - netlink error: 3
Hi Guys,
I will probably raise a support ticket, but wondering if anyone else has had this error when trying to add a static route.
Device is APM 4200 running 11.3.
Error message: <01070712:3: Caught configuration exception (0), Cannot create static route: 170.65.255.1/32 gw 172.26.188.94 on interface in rd0 - netlink error: 3 (No such process) - net/validation/routing.cpp, line 243.>
It seems to be an error tied to the VLAN/subnet. Am able to add routes as long as next hop is going via another network.
What I tried: adding route via tmsh, reloading system configuration.
What worked: rebooting device.
Regards,
Jules

Full box Reboot worked for me too. TMOS 11.4.1 HF5.
I had the same problem in version 13.1.0.8 when trying to restore the backup, I solved with a bigstart restart.
