Active Active Configuration
end user -- > proxy -- > F5 LB (active/active) --> server
If there are 4 url's,
www.xyz.co.in main domain and 3 sub domains
aaa.xyz.co.in
bbb.xyz.co.in
ccc.xyz.co.in
Any user who access main domain, would go through any of the sub domains, at times all the sub domains and logout.
In case if i configure F5 in active active, user accessing main domain, first sub domain would go through f5 LB 1 and second domain would go through f5 LB2.
will there be a problem or should i go with sticky connections.

it all depend on your application does it need persistence or not as you said they are totally different applications under same domain.

Like mentioned, its purely on the application behavior, How does your app behave when it traverses across VIP's or domains. Does it throw out the session (it probably should).
You would need your app team to test these and post that you can come to conclusion to apply persistence or put some other logic.
