Dear f5,
I need a help, i have a existing network where use f5 load balancer to balance the traffic, when we do tracert command at pc client we found 2 times IP ingress shown, how this come?
Please give me your advice, there is any problem with my network.
belowe simple network
ingress egress

lets say the ingress IP

192.168.1.3 (virtual)

192.168.1.10
192.168.1.11 (virtual)

You get two replies from the BIG-IP because it has two virtual addresses in the path of the trace, but you get both replies from the same address because the BIG-IP replies to your requests using the self IP address on the vlan "closest" to the requester for both requests, even if one of the requests is to the to another virtual address owned by the Traffic Management Microkernel because it automatically chooses the most local address to reply to ICMP traffic. - Jellf_42492
