2 LTM ver 11.3 couldn't sync config
I just found the 2 LTM ver 11.3 couldn't sync config. They could, and I have no idea from when configsycn had stopped working, because I left them for about a month. I have gone through all the steps in this doc (http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/900/sol13946.html). Everything seems OK or doesn't give me more clue about the problem, except the output of "tmsh run /cm sniff-updates".
It gives: Can't parse MCP message, Can't parse message, unmatched EOM query_count { query_count_count_only 1 } query { devicegroup_device { devicegroup_device_devicegroup "/Common/stag-lb" devicegroup_device_device "/Common/stag-lb1.office.arsrs.local" } } status:16908289 Can't parse MCP message, Can't parse message, unmatched EOM query_all { devicegroup_device { devicegroup_device_devicegroup "/Common/stag-lb" devicegroup_device_device "/Common/stag-lb1.office.arsrs.local" } } status:16908289
However, I couldn't find anything related in DevCentral or Google. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thank you!

Hi.
Do you have any iApps deployed? We had any issue with synch where an iApp and been deployed and then synched with partner device. The iApp was then amended but it prevented synch from working.
The fix was too delete the config of partner deviceand then synch again.
Also a previous synch issue was resolved by a restart of MCPD daemon

We have had SYNC issues several times. What we saw was when devices won’t sync We have seen the active show disconnected and we can’t sync In these cases it was due to 2 people doing sync at the same time or a sync in the wrong direction when someone was also on the active box.
The fix we use for this is ON the Standby ONLY!!!! Tmsh restart sys service mcpd If you run this on the active expect a lot of trouble tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Restart of the mcpd service worked in our instance
- Make sure you have a crossover cable connected between 2 LTM on failover ports.
- Is HA vlan working fine and have the right ports connected to it by crossover cable.

Hi Muhammad, HA Vlan is good, and we are not using crossover failover cable.

We had a lot of Sync issues with our 11.3. After many troubleshooting sessions with F5 support, the issues we were having ended up being resolved in the Hot Fix 9 release.
