01070712:3: Certificate/Key has unknown format or security type

Hello.

 

I am new to F5 Big-IP, i am trying to add an SSL certificate to the device to be used for SSL offloading. i have added the certificate but when am adding the key, am geting this error "01070712:3: Certificate/Key has unknown format or security type". The file for the key has an .jceks extension. what can be cause of this error?

    Hello 

    Please convert to it PEM format , or open the key in a notepad and try to upload it(.key)

     

    The key in notepad will open like this

    ----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY-----

    [encoded data]

    -----END PRIVATE KEY-----
