We're excited to announce the release of the newly-redesigned F5 NGINX documentation website, docs.nginx.com. The NGINX Documentation website hosts content for F5's enterprise NGINX offerings, including F5 NGINX One and F5 NGINX Plus. This release includes a fresh, minimalist design and a complete overhaul of our Hugo theme. We have also added redesigned product landing pages, a new sidebar, and a product selector to make it easier to navigate the site. We will continue to iterate on the site, following a continuous delivery model to release improvements as we complete them. We would love your feedback on our updated design, as well as on our ongoing site improvements. You can share your thoughts in the comments here or via the NGINX community forum, where this announcement is cross-posted. Thanks are due to the F5 DocOps team for their tireless efforts on this project.68Views2likes0CommentsIs there a list of ALL possible APM session variables available?
Hi guys, I am wondering, is there a list of all possible APM session variables available somewhere? I realized that dumping session.* through VPE Logging box does not actually show all session variables, although one would expect that. Or, for example, dumping session.user.* does not display session.user.ipgeolocation.country_code in APM log file. It does so only when I explicitly define this variable in the VPE Logging box. There are few lists on the AskF5 website, but none of them looks to be complete, many variables I know of are missing in those lists. I am about to create some customized reporting based on session variables and I would like to know all variables I can work with. If you have any idea, please let me know. Thanks a lot!646Views0likes3CommentsAre there any tools to generate 'As Built' Documentation for the F5s?
Hi, We need to create 'as built' documents for each of the F5s. We need to record the current state and then again post upgrade and again in the near future with a number of alterations that will be carried out post upgrade. Is there a tool or tools that I can use to assist with generating the 'as built' documentation? Thank you423Views0likes2Commentsgood way to document
Hi gurus! Does anyone know a good way to document configuration in LTM? We have a really large environment and it's quite tedious to manually document every VS, iRule, Pool and so on so I'm looking for a better solution. The "Network Map" tab is good sometimes but doesn't show every relation etc. The iApp "components" show a really good overview but we barley use that so I'm looking for other options. I hope you understand what I'm asking.Solved696Views0likes6CommentsHow to document the configuration?
Hello, I have a problem to document special configurations on the LTM. I use a wiki, but it's not comfortable to navigate first through the web interface of the LTM and the through the wiki to find the right documentation for this configuration. I tried to use web site annotation tools (for instance Internote) to have a note with a link to the documentation, but it doesn't work because of the LTM web interface. Has anyone a good idea for a comfortable way to document special things for every virtual server? The one line in the configuration of the VS is already used... Thanks in advance... Just a suggestion if I may make one here: It would be very convenient for many of us users, I believe, if the solution articles, many of which are long ones, could have their most recent updates highlighted so that we do not have to search the whole of an article trying to spot what might actually be just a small change, sometimes unsuccessfully.245Views0likes1Comment
