Nimbostratusvirtual server fault tolerance (active-passive)
Hi,
I have two servers that are working in active-passive mode.
Each server has a unique DNS entry.
The active server has been configured in F5 and is working properly.
The goal is to be able to use a single URL and to have F5 forward the traffic to the active server based on the state of the servers.
appliance version is 12.1.2

Hi,
You can use Priority Group Activation to assign a higher value to the principal server, and, if it fails, send the request to the second server with a lower Priority Group Activation.

This does not achieve the goal of a single URL for both servers...
As my chname points to one virtual server..
