Cirrostratus

in Failover Configuration there is an option for the Preferred Order and wanna to configure the faliover  :

Traffic Groups
Failover Configuration
Failover Order: Preferred Order
                           Load Aware

waf1:  active  / waf2 :  standby

For WAF1 :

shall i have to add waf2 in preferrd order box and enable

Failover using Preferred Device Order and then Load Aware
Always Failback to First Device if it is Available

For WAF2:

shall i have to add waf1 in preferrd order box and enable

Failover using Preferred Device Order and then Load Aware
Always Failback to First Device if it is Available

is this the correct configration? or i have to add waf1 for both devices since waf1 is the active (primary)?

Hi,

You need to move the device WAF1 in both devices to Preferred Order, and then enable the feature "Always Failback to First Device if it is Available" in this case you can enable Auto Failback Timeout.
Test the behavior making a failover to WAF2, and the traffic will return automatically to WAF1 in the Failback Timeout that you configure in previous steps.
