I am not a VIPRION expert, but it makes sense. iApps work in the vCMP Guest context, but do not operate in the vCMP host context (the hypervisor). It was a bug in 11.5.4 that allowed the iApps menu to be shown. The bug was fixed in 12.0, but not regressed to 11.5 hotfixes.

Thanks Fred for your quick response.
We only use it on the vCMP host for automated backups. I cannot find anything in the release notes about this. Was this bug and fix mentioned in the release notes?

The iAPP menu is there on our VCMP host running 11.6.0. Of course you wont use iAPPs on the host except for maybe making automated back-ups. I tested it on another device installed 12.1.0 VCMP and the iAPP menu is gone. But reachable via the links Robin posted.
Would be nice to get a clear answer on this is the iAPP menu supposed to be there or not? So just the GUI icon is removed you can still use it via the direct links or CLI. Doesn't seem the proper way to me.
