Hello All,
Right now in order to upgrade a multiblade VIPRION system successfully, i need to use the clsh utility to copy the current configuration to the new volume on all slots as specified in the article below:
https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K14724
In case i just boot the VIPRION system to a newly installed volume from the web utility, the system always boots an older version of the configuration, which makes sense since the configuration is copied over when a new slot is activated. Subsequently, the configuration should be copied over manually.
Could this procedure get automated for VIPRION systems and simply boot to a new volume from the configuration utility by just selecting the desired boot location?
Perhaps the guides below should be updated as well, since they descibe the procedure i just mentioned which for multiblade systems is incomplete.

Thanks for your time!

Hello Dario,
That's a very nice guide thank you. I know how to upgrade the VIPRION systems but i noticed that there is no standard procedure that indicates that the use of clsh in when upgrading multiblade VIPRIONs is mandatory, so that's the purpose of this question.
Thanks for your time 🙂
Best regards.
