F5 utilization

Hi Experts, I have a requirement to onboard new applications to F5. Before that I need to check if capacity also needs to be increased. I have a 1G perpetual ASM+LTM license

what all parameters should be considered to check current capacity utilization

Does increasing CPU and RAM has any implication on license type or it can be increased to any value

    Hi D99,

    Increase of RAM has no license implications. Increase of CPU depends on the exact license you own / subscribed (Good/Better/Best bundles)

    CPU, RAM and throughput rates are the most effective counters to estimate spare capacity.
