f5 config query

Hi all,

 

If we reboot f5 viprion chassis from new volume having new code and do not reactivate the license before reboot and lets say the device comes up post upgarde without configuration.Can we recover the config again by booting the device from the previous bootable volume or do we need to reactivate the license

    Hi

     

    If you reactivate the licence then the config should then load (assuming that you have ported it over as part of your upgrade)

     

    Yes, if you reboot back to the previously active volume then the device will be in the same configurational state as it was before you rebooted the device.
