F5 apm on mac os resolve.conf patch

Hi .

can someone elaborate when connecting to F5 apm vpn with split dns config

what should resolve.conf look like after connect ? should is contain local DNS or company dns ? or both ?

currently when i connect i get the local dns server address with search domains on company on top

can someone please explain what is the correct behavior ?

  • It depends on OS preferences for dhcp clients, but it should usually have internal dns, which should also have resolver services configured. Your client should figure out the best path to route to those IPs via split tunnel, but is typically from the internal resource.

  • Hey Booli - it looks like nobody has answered your question yet, so I've asked a colleague to take a look when he gets back from PTO at the end of the week.
