Why is the DNS Traffic Management using the BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager guide considered obsolete?

Would that be a bad solution for load balancing a handful of internal microsoft dns servers?
Mishaua Most likely it's because either the template is no longer supported or some other piece of the configuration is no longer supported which is stated at the beginning of the article where it says "end-of-life or end-of-support". I would imagine this still would work but the only way to be sure is to step through the configuration manually instead of using a template.
