  • b conn client would require you use the client IP 84.116.0.124 (b conn client 84.116.0.124 delete). b conn server would be the VIP address, 84.116.0.7 (or with the VS port: b conn server 84.116.0.7:1389 delete). Or you could try b conn ss server 10.146.116.13:1389 delete (for the serverside server).

  • I think the ss option was added in 9.4.x. I assume you're running an earlier version.

  • Hmm... do you see the ss option in 'b conn help'? It works on 10.1 (and I assume on 10.0.x as well):

    b conn ss server 2.2.2.2:80

    No Conns were found.

  • no, can´t see the ss option in help...

    [root@atvieer-lb01:Active] config b conn ss server 2.2.2.2:80

    BIGpipe parsing error:

012e0017:3: The requested item (ss server) is invalid ( | show | help) for 'conn'

    [root@atvieer-lb01:Active] config b version

    Kernel:

    Linux 2.4.21-10.0.0.5401.0smp

    Package:

    BIG-IP Version 10.0.0 5460.0

    Hotfix HF1 Edition

  • That's odd. Maybe the feature "fell out" of the first versions of 10. It's there in 9.4.x and 10.1.0 but not 10.0.x.
