Can iQuery between two BIGIP DNS devices "in a DNS Sync group" report on the state of local virtual servers?

Hi;

Traditionally, the BIGIP DNS for GSLB purposes, monitored the virtual servers on BIGIP LTMs using iQuery (BIGIP monitors), this provides health monitoring plus metrics like the current number of connections currently on these virtual servers.

My question is, Can the iQuery channel between two BIGIP DNS devices replace the need for iQuery to the virtual servers in any way? Take this scenario for example: Let's say that we have datacenter 1 and datacenter2 and let's say that there is a DNS and an LTM in each, If the GSLB pool defined on a DNS device at datacentre1 iQuery monitors onlly the Vserver on the LTM at datacentre1 and if the GSLB pool defined on a DNS device at datacentre2 iQuery monitors onlly the Vserver on the LTM at datacentre2, then the question is:

Can the GSLB pool defined on the DNS device at datacentre1 come to know the state of the Vserver on the LTM at datacentre2 through iQuery between the two DNS devices. Further, would it also know the metrics associated with this Vserver like the current connections number on this Vserver? Finally, would this Vserver be UP from the perspective of the GSLB pool defined on the DNS device at datacentre1?

Kindly

Wasfi
