Hello,

Is there a way to set the monitoring method to TCP when the pool member's service port is 0?

If you encounter this error, you can resolve it by taking either or both of the following actions:

  • Define a service port for the monitor.
  • Define a service port for each object to which the monitor will be applied.

service port 0 is represent any service, pool member tcp and udp monitor can not use service port 0(gateway_icmp can use service port 0), if pool member service port has a lot, recommand you to use gateway_icmp monitor, too many ports detected will also degrade the performance of the device:

For example, we have an i2600 with 2000+ VS and 2000+ pools, result its CPU and memory being at more than 80-90% usage of the working state(affect sometimes we can not login in GUI Web because restjaved service is restart)
