abnormal program termination

I removed F5 from Add/Remove Programs. I added my normal logon to the admin group. I logged on with that account, and connected to SSL VPN. I connected to FULL ACCESS without problems. I verified I could get to network shares the photographers would use. I disconnected and removed the account from the admin group. I logged off, logged back on, repeated the above steps, and upon connecting to FULL ACCESS, IE threw the same Visual C++ runtime error of “abnormal program termination”.

So is your issue with the Client API or the actual permissions on the FirePass itself? It sounds like the issue was caused by removing yourself from the admin group. Have you checked the permissions of the resources you're accessing?

  • It appears to be IE on the users PC that is generating the error. The typical user in our organization is not an administrator on their PC, and they do not have this problem. This problem exists within one division with a bunch of news photographers.
